## Which Ford to take

The Ranger is a pickup with an open load bed, for surfboards, golf bags or a lot of luggage. The Everest is a large SUV; a driver needs to be 23 or older for it.

Neither is needed for the island roads themselves, there is no off-road in Phuket; people take them for space and for the seat height.
