For two people and the beaches, the economy cars: the Yaris hatchback, the Yaris Ativ and Vios saloons. The economy class is the most common choice on the island, and these are the cars that usually come up first in the search.

The C-HR is a crossover, for people who want to sit higher on the hill roads of the west coast. The Veloz is a minivan with seven seats, the one to take when the group does not fit into one small car.

## Terms for every Toyota we rent

The deposit is refundable and separate from the rental price. Its size depends on the model, from 5,000 ฿ for most economy cars and up to 30,000 ฿ for the most expensive electric car; the table above shows the sum for each car. It is left in cash at handover, and a non-cash option can be agreed in the chat before delivery.

First-class commercial insurance is included. It is a policy for commercial use, so the insurer accepts a claim on a rented car, and damage to third parties is covered up to 800,000 ฿. A copy of the policy is available on request.

Everyone who drives needs a passport, a national driving licence and an International Driving Permit, and must be named in the contract. Licences from ASEAN countries follow a different rule: mention the country of issue when you book and we confirm the documents in the chat. The minimum age is 21 with a year of driving; premium cars and large SUVs need a driver aged 23 or older.
