# Can a Car Come to My Hotel or Villa at Night in Phuket?

Page URL: https://kolesio.com/en/faq/night-car-delivery-to-a-hotel-or-villa-in-phuket/

Yes. We deliver the car to a hotel, villa or apartment in any area of Phuket at any hour, night included, as long as the delivery is agreed in chat in advance, because it is planned for a specific time. What changes after dark is the handover and the first drive: the inspection needs a torch, and a villa on a slope needs its name sent before the car leaves.

## Will you bring the car to my hotel at night?

Yes, and a late evening is an ordinary slot for us. We deliver the car to airport arrivals, a hotel, villa or apartment in any area of Phuket at any hour, including night arrivals; delivery has to be agreed in chat in advance, because it is planned for a specific time.

That covers the whole island. We deliver to a hotel or villa in the south of Phuket as well, at any hour including late evening: Chalong, Rawai and Nai Harn, the furthest run from the airport. A villa in the far south late in the evening is the same booking as a hotel by the beach at noon, only with the time written down more carefully.

### What to send before the evening

The address with the hotel or villa name, the time you will be there and the names of the drivers. If you will be out until late, say so as well: a handover at ten in the evening is easier to plan than one that moves every hour.

## What makes a villa delivery after dark different?

Mostly the driveway. On the slopes of Kamala and Surin, give us the villa name before anything else, so the car we bring can make the climb: after a downpour a low saloon struggles on those short, steep drives. The car rental in Kamala and car rental in Surin pages describe the villas on the slopes and the steep, narrow private driveways there.

In the gated complexes of Bang Tao and Laguna the car comes to the gate or inside by arrangement. Tell us which one when you book, so the delivery is planned around the gate rather than sorted out in front of it. Laguna is a gated resort complex with a post at the entrance and a barrier; the car rental in Laguna page has the local detail.

Pick the meeting spot with light in mind. A lamp by the gate or the hotel entrance gives you enough to see the car properly, and it is where the walk-round goes fastest.

The same goes for villas further from the beach: [a car at a villa in Cherng Talay](/en/cars/cherng-talay/) comes at the hour you agree, with the delivery counted separately and its sum confirmed in the chat.

## How do I check the car in the dark?

The same way as by day, only with a light. We walk round the car with you at the handover, checking body, tyres, air conditioning and fuel. After dark, shine the phone torch along the sills, bumpers, wheels and windscreen; each scratch goes on the report, because a mark missing from it before you sign counts as yours when the car comes back.

Next, the lights. Switch between dipped and main beam and walk round to compare the two headlamps; a weak bulb on an unlit hill road turns every bend into guesswork. Give the inside of the windscreen a wipe as well, since a hazy screen glares white in oncoming headlights.

At a night handover the documents are the same as by day: the passport, the national licence card and the IDP of every driver.

- Send the hotel or villa name and the time in chat — the delivery is planned for it
- Meet the car under a lamp — the inspection goes faster in light
- Use the phone torch on sills, bumpers, wheels and windscreen — marks go on the report
- Test dipped and main beam — both headlamps should be equally bright
- Wipe the inside of the windscreen — a hazy screen dazzles at night
- Set the first route while parked — the phone is easier to use standing still

## Should I drive the same night?

Make the first night drive a short one on a road you already know, more so if driving on the left is still new. Highway 402 down the middle of the island and the roads into Phuket Town have decent lighting, but turn onto a side road towards a beach and the lamps and road paint end at the same point.

Some stretches are darker than others: along the Kamala coast the road is unlit and in places without markings, and up north around Mai Khao long sections stay unlit. If that is where you are staying, the honest plan for the first evening is a dinner within walking distance and the first proper drive in the morning.

If you are staying on the Kamala coast or in the north, choose a lit spot near the door for the night. Set the return route while you are still parked, because working it out on a dark road with a low battery is where small mistakes start.

Landing late rather than arriving from elsewhere on the island? The page on night delivery at Phuket Airport covers the terminal side of the same evening.

> A car delivered at night can stay parked until morning. Nothing obliges you to take a hill road in the dark on the first evening.

## Can the car go back late as well?

Yes. The car can be collected from your hotel or left at the airport, whatever fits the flight: a late departure usually means keeping it until the airport, an early one often means handing it over the night before. How to return the car at the airport is explained step by step on its own page.

Message the dates, the address and the time you want the car on WhatsApp, or use the booking form. It will be an automatic with first-class commercial insurance, delivered to arrivals, a hotel, villa or apartment anywhere in Phuket at any hour, with the total for your dates agreed in chat beforehand.
