What kind of car is the Nissan Note?
The Nissan Note is a five-seat economy car with an automatic gearbox and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. Two large suitcases with carry-ons go into its boot, as in any ordinary passenger car.
Is a Nissan Note a good first car in Phuket?
Yes. Phuket drives on the left, and with an automatic one layer of new skills is gone: no clutch on hill starts or in the queues along the beach roads.
In a right-hand-drive car the selector sits to the left of the driver, and the first reach for it feels clumsy. Get used to the Nissan Note in the car park rather than in traffic.
Where does the Nissan Note fit?
An economy car suits the beach towns. In Patong the hard part is parking, and the car park on the roof of Jungceylon is the most reliable place in the centre.
On the hills with four adults, luggage and the air conditioning on, the 1.2-litre engine of the Nissan Note climbs in a low gear with nothing to spare, so do not plan to overtake uphill.
How much does the Nissan Note cost for a week?
For a week look at the 4–7 days column of the table on this page, and for a month at 30+ days: the table shows the economy-class minimum, not a price for the Nissan Note. The Note's own rates from our live search are in the Nissan Note price block on this page, and the search shows the exact total for a Note on your dates.
Which cars compare with the Nissan Note?
In the same class the search lists the Nissan Almera with a 1.0-litre turbo or 1.2-litre engine, the Toyota Yaris with 1.2 litres and the Suzuki Swift. For long drives off the island, the Honda Civic has a 1.8-litre engine.
How is the Nissan Note delivered and booked?
The Nissan Note arrives at your hotel, villa, apartment or airport arrivals at the hour agreed in the chat, around the clock, and you can return it at the airport on the day you fly. Open the search from the button on this page with the economy class selected; when a Note is free for your dates it comes first. For questions, write to us on WhatsApp.

Common questions
How much does Nissan Note cost for 7 or 30 days?
In our live search for the Nissan Note, starting 26 Oct with pickup and return in Patong: 7 days (26 Oct–2 Nov) cost 5 880 ฿; 30 days (26 Oct–25 Nov) cost 16 538 ฿. Delivery is charged separately and the refundable deposit is not part of the price.
What is the refundable deposit for Nissan Note?
5 000 ฿ in the 7-day quote and 5 000 ฿ in the 30-day quote for the Nissan Note. The deposit is refundable and separate from the rental price; it is left in cash at handover, and a non-cash option is agreed in chat before delivery.
Is insurance included?
Yes. First-class commercial insurance is included in the rental: the policy is issued for commercial use, so the insurer accepts a claim with a rented car. Damage to third parties is covered up to 800,000 ฿, and a copy of the policy is available on request. It covers the drivers named in the contract who have a passport, a national driving licence and an International Driving Permit.
Can you deliver Nissan Note to my hotel or Phuket Airport?
Yes. We deliver to hotels, villas, apartments and the airport exit anywhere on the island, at any hour, night flights included. Delivery is charged separately from the rental; the cost for your address is confirmed in chat.
