Two people and suitcases: an economy saloon
Cheapest way to do it. Economy cars have the lowest seven-day rates of the four classes in the table, and the economy deposit, 5,000–7,000 ฿, is as low as our deposits go.
Go for a saloon, not a hatchback. The Suzuki Ciaz, Toyota Yaris Ativ and Honda City have a closed boot, so your bags aren't on show while you're up at a viewpoint or eating noodles halfway.
Automatic, by the way. Every car we deliver is, down to the cheapest one.
A family or a lot of luggage: a crossover
Need the back seat for people rather than luggage? Then it's a crossover. Our crossovers are the MG ZS, Mazda CX-3, Toyota C-HR and Honda HR-V, each with its seven-day rate in the table.
You pay for the extra room twice: a higher rate, and a crossover deposit of 5,000–10,000 ฿ depending on the model. The table has the exact sum per car.
Small kids on board? Ask for child seats when you book; they're matched to the child's age, weight and height.
The biggest car: Ford Everest or a Ford Ranger pickup
The Ford Everest is the big SUV in our search. The Everest deposit is 8,000–15,000 ฿, and the driver has to be 23 or older (for everything else it's 21 with a year of driving).
Or the Ford Ranger, a pickup: 5,000–15,000 ฿ deposit, with the Wildtrak at the top end, 10,000–15,000 ฿.
Neither one is needed for the mainland. The trip terms are identical for an Everest and a Ciaz, so book the big car for your group or your bags, not for the road.
Krabi, Khao Lak or Khao Sok: the class stays the same
Khao Lak is in Phang Nga province, Khao Sok in Surat Thani, and Krabi is a province of its own. All three go without a surcharge. So the destination changes your day, not your car.

Islands are another story. Koh Lanta or Koh Samui means a car ferry, and our cars go on a ferry only with written consent and the route named in advance. Tell us when you book, not at the pier.
How the seven-day total is counted
The strip under the heading and the table both show live seven-day rates. A week lands in the 4–7 day price step; keep the car longer and you're in the 8–14 day step.
Dates matter more than people expect. November is cheaper than December or January, and May is low season. A price from the search only holds for 30 minutes, so run your own dates before comparing anything.
Delivery isn't in the daily rate. We name the sum for your address in the chat.
Booking the car for the trip

We bring the car to your hotel, villa or the airport exit at any hour, night flights too. Payment gets sorted in the messenger (roubles, cash, a bank transfer, USDT or a card), and there's no prepayment just for asking.
Sharing the wheel? Name the second driver before delivery; they need a passport, a national licence and an International Driving Permit too.
At the end, drop the car in another area or at the departures terminal on the day you fly. Same fuel level as you got it; a dirty car means a 300 ฿ wash.

For Khao Sok, is a hatchback enough or do I need an SUV?
Nothing in the rental terms asks for an SUV: Khao Sok is in Surat Thani province, and every class goes there without a surcharge. So choose by people and bags.
