Can I book a car for today?
Yes. Enter today's date on the booking page and the search returns the cars that are free for those dates, with the total for the whole period. If the class you wanted is missing, it is not free for those days: pick another class from the list or ask in chat. The total shown covers the whole period, so you see the cost of your dates before you write to us.
The list covers several classes, from economy cars and crossovers to minivans and pickups. What is free changes from day to day, which is why the search is the first step.
Then send the dates, the pickup place and the time you want the car on WhatsApp. Every delivery is planned for a specific time, so the hour is confirmed in chat rather than promised in advance.
What changes when you book for tomorrow?
Mostly the room to plan. A day ahead you can choose a comfortable delivery hour and have the documents ready before the car arrives.
A morning delivery is the easiest version: you check the car in daylight and drive your first roads before the evening traffic builds up.
A day ahead also leaves time to add a second driver to the agreement, or to agree a trip off the island, so nothing has to be settled at the handover.
What should I have ready for a same-day car?
Have these to hand before the car arrives. At the handover we go round the car together, check the body, tyres, air conditioning and fuel level, and you sign. The refundable deposit is settled at the handover, in cash or by a cashless option agreed in chat beforehand.

How do I send a same-day request?

If you are not sure about the class, say how many people and suitcases you have, and whether the roads around your hotel or villa are steep. That is enough to suggest a car that is free for your dates.
Photos of the passport, licence and IDP sent in the chat when you book let us prepare the agreement before the car leaves. The originals are still checked at the handover.

Can the car come to the airport today?
Yes. The car can meet you at arrivals, or come to a hotel, villa or apartment in any area of Phuket, at any hour including night arrivals, as long as the time is agreed in chat. For a flight landing today, send the flight number so the handover follows the actual landing time.
Landing late at night is not a problem in itself: night arrivals are covered in the same way, with the time fixed in chat. What helps is sending the request before you board, so the car is planned while you are in the air.
Can a same-day car come to a villa?
Yes, as long as the time is agreed in chat. For a villa, send its name first: on the hills of Kamala, Surin and Kata Noi the driveway decides which car can make the climb.
In the gated complexes of Bang Tao and Laguna the car comes to the gate or inside by arrangement, so mention the complex and the house number in the same message. A map pin in the chat saves the driver a phone call at the gate.
When is a same-day car not the best plan?
When you have never driven on the left and the car would arrive late in the evening. Take delivery the next morning instead and learn the roads in daylight.
The other case is a trip off the island on the same day, to Krabi or Khao Lak for example. Leaving Phuket is agreed in chat before the trip, so mention it when you book rather than at the handover.
And if you only need one short trip today, a car with a driver may suit better than a rental: a passenger needs no licence and no IDP.
