How the airport hand-over works

The car is brought to the exit from arrivals, at any hour. A night landing is normal and does not change the plan. The person delivering the car checks the documents, writes down the fuel level and shows the car to you before you sign.

Delivery is counted separately from the rental. The sum for the airport is named in chat together with the total, so you see the whole bill before you fly. The request itself is free and no prepayment is taken on it.

Every driver needs a passport, a national driving licence and an International Driving Permit. Keep them in your hand luggage, not in the checked bag: the hand-over happens before you reach the hotel. A second driver is added to the agreement in advance with the same documents.

What a month with a car costs

A month is priced as one period with its own average rate. Ask for the total for your real dates rather than multiplying a daily price from a shorter rental. The price from our search holds for 30 minutes, so the total is fixed in chat.

The base price depends on the start date. November is lower, December and January are higher, and May is low season. A month that starts in early November and one that starts before Christmas are different money for the same car.

Payment for the rental can be made in roubles, cash Thai baht, bank transfer, USDT or card. The method for your booking is agreed in the messenger before delivery.

Economy, crossover or seven-seater for a month

Economy is the largest class in the fleet and the usual choice for a month for one or two people. It is the cheapest to run day after day and the easiest to park in the beach towns.

A crossover makes sense when the house is up a steep road or when the month includes long drives to the mainland. A seven-seater fits a family with a lot of luggage from the first day: a month of stuff rarely fits a small boot.

Child seats are given on request at booking, matched to the child's age, weight and height. Mention the seat in the first message, together with the flight date: in high season free seats run out earlier than cars.

Deposit and insurance for a long rental

The deposit is refundable and separate from the rental price: 5,000–30,000 ฿ depending on the model. A cash deposit is paid at the airport hand-over; a non-cash option is agreed in chat before delivery. A deposit paid in roubles by transfer comes back the same way.

First-class commercial insurance is included. The policy is for commercial use, so the insurer accepts a case with a rented car. Damage to third parties is covered up to 800,000 ฿, and a copy of the policy is available on request. After an at-fault accident part of the deposit may be held, from 5,000 ฿, depending on the model and the damage.

The minimum age is 21 with a year of driving; premium cars and large SUVs from 23.

Trips during the month

A month leaves time for the mainland. Trips to Krabi, Phang Nga and Surat Thani provinces go without a surcharge, and the insurance stays in force. Tell us the dates in chat before you set off.

A car on a ferry needs the rental's written consent, and the route is named in advance. If plans change mid-month, dates are changed with a message in the chat; the earlier you write, the easier it is.

Returning the car at the airport

On the last day the car can be returned at the departures terminal, so you drive yourself to the flight. If you move to another part of the island for the last days, the car can be returned in another area instead.

The car goes back with the same fuel level as at the hand-over. A car returned dirty costs 300 ฿ for washing, and after a month on the island a quick wash before the airport is worth the stop.

A cash deposit comes back at the return inspection. A card hold is released by the bank and can take several days. Part of the deposit may wait for speed-camera fines, which arrive with a delay.
