Which districts can the car be delivered to?

The booking form lists the delivery points by district: the airport, Patong, Karon, Kata, Kamala, Bang Tao, Laguna, Surin, Rawai, Nai Harn, Chalong, Phuket Town, Kathu, Mai Khao, Nai Yang, Nai Thon and Panwa. Pick the one where you are staying, then give the exact hotel, villa or apartment in the chat.

Patong, Rawai and Kata go through the same procedure as the rest of the list. What differs between them is the drive and the parking around your address, and that is worth a line in the chat.

The car also comes to the smaller areas between them, such as car hire in Ya Nui, a car delivered in Kalim and car rental in Cherng Talay: delivery there is counted separately from the rental, and the sum for your exact address is confirmed in the chat.

How does delivery work, step by step?

Most of it happens in the chat before the car leaves, so the handover itself takes little time.

• Choose the dates, the delivery point and the class on the booking page — the search shows the free cars, the total and the refundable deposit
• Send the hotel or villa name and the hour you want the car on WhatsApp
• Send photos of the passport, licence and IDP of every driver, so the agreement is ready before the car leaves
• Meet the car at the agreed place: show the originals, inspect the car and sign
• Agree the return point and hour — the same place or another one, the airport for example

Patong: tell us about the hotel car park

Patong sits in a hollow between hills, and the side streets near the centre are narrow. Tell us the hotel name and whether it has its own car park before you land, so the handover happens where the car can stand for the inspection.

If you are staying on the hill above town, say so when you book: the road up is steep, and the meeting point is easier to agree in advance than on the phone at the gate.

Rawai and Kata: villas, slopes and narrow streets

Rawai has flat roads, short distances and easy parking, so a villa handover there is usually simple. For a villa, send the location pin in the chat, because a driver looking for an unmarked gate after dark loses time.

Kata is tighter. Inside the area the streets are narrow, with scooters parked along both sides, and most parking is in the bays inland from the beach or in the car parks of the larger hotels. If your hotel has a car park, name it as the meeting point.

Which car suits Patong, Rawai and Kata?

For all three an economy car is usually enough. In Patong a short body squeezes into the lanes and the hotel car park more easily; in Kata an economy car fits a short bay where an SUV no longer will; in Rawai the flat roads and easy parking ask for nothing bigger.

An SUV makes sense if you are staying on a slope and drive uphill every day, or if you plan a lot of driving over the winding roads of the south. A minivan is for a large group with luggage, and then plan the hotel car park as the place it lives.

What does delivery cost?

Delivery is priced separately from the daily rate. The booking search shows the rental total and the refundable deposit for each free car, and the delivery charge for your address is confirmed in the chat before you book.

The deposit is settled in the chat before delivery, so the handover itself is documents, inspection and signature. The passport is shown and stays with you.

Late flights and returning the car elsewhere

Delivery runs at any hour, night arrivals included. For a late flight send the flight number, so the meeting at arrivals moves with the real landing time.

The return point is chosen separately in the booking form, so the car can be delivered to a hotel in Kata and collected at the airport on the day you fly. Say it when you book, because the return place and hour go into the agreement.

The smallest class for Rawai

Rawai's flat roads and easy parking ask for nothing bigger than the smallest class; cheap car hire in Rawai shows its live rates and the models in it.

Is hotel delivery free on a short rental?

No: the delivery fee is the same for the shortest rental our search prices as for a month.

On a rental of a few days it is simply a bigger share of the total, which is why the search shows the total with delivery next to each car, not the rental alone.

There is no minimum rental period for delivery: any rental the search prices can be brought to a hotel or villa in Patong, Rawai or Kata.

Is collecting the car from the hotel at the end free too?

It is not charged on top: when you hand the car back at the same hotel or villa, the delivery fee you already paid covers collecting it there.

Returning somewhere else changes the fee. The booking form takes the delivery point and the return point separately and the search prices that pair, so a car delivered to Kata and returned at the airport shows its own total before you book.

Agree the return hour in the chat along with the place, because both go into the agreement.
