Laem Singh Beach by Car in Phuket: Park and Walk
You cannot drive down to Laem Singh Beach because no road reaches the sand. Park at Surin Beach, then take the rocky trail from its south end for about 15–20 minutes or ask about the local boat there.

Short answer
Laem Singh is a west-coast cove between Surin Beach and Kamala, with no road down to the beach. Drive to Surin instead, then continue from the south end on foot or by local boat. The old staircase from the coast road remains closed, so the Laem Singh viewpoint is not a walking entrance.
Where to leave the car (Surin Beach)
Leave the car at Surin Beach before continuing to Laem Singh. Surin has a short parking row along the road and two small bays; in season they fill by eleven. Restaurants have their own car parks for guests. Never park on the single-lane turnings to the sand.
Surin is about ten minutes from Kamala or Bang Tao on the coast road, and about 30 minutes from Phuket Airport. If you need a rental car delivered to arrivals, a hotel, villa or apartment, send the car, dates and collection place on WhatsApp. Delivery is counted separately from the rental.
The trail and the boat
The walking trail starts at the south end of Surin Beach and takes about 15–20 minutes to Laem Singh. It begins with a climb over boulders and gets easier after that. Do not plan to descend from the viewpoint on the coast road; its old staircase has stayed closed.
A small local boat leaves from the same south end of Surin Beach for a per-person fee. It depends on the weather and may not run during the June-to-October monsoon months.
What to bring
Bring water and cash to Laem Singh. Its one small Thai restaurant takes cash only, and the beach has no toilets, shops, ATMs or sunbeds.
From May to October, west-coast surf and rip currents affect swimming. A red flag means no swimming. Check the conditions before going into the water.

Which car for the drive to Surin Beach
Every visit starts with a parking space at Surin Beach, and space there is limited, so a shorter car is easier. For a hillside villa on either side, SUV rental in Surin and SUV rental in Kamala cover the steep drives; a family coming from Kamala in one car can take seven-seater hire in Kamala and arrive before eleven in season.
